Cheers.. GlennGlenn KirkhamKeymasterHi Dale, certainly not my area of expertise but I have heard tell that all rebuild kits are not equal and some have wrong parts in them..?
Are the inlet rubbers sealing as they should, are you using std Airbox etc…?Cheers Glenn
Glenn KirkhamKeymasterHi Peter, I’ve always heard good things about NRP. Not used any 1100r pieces from them myself. The NRP VFR carb parts I have used were fine though.
May be worth looking at Cary Knapton’s Supersport website as well as I believe Cary has kits that he has tested to be ethanol compatible now.
Cheers h season’s greetings..👍Glenn KirkhamKeymasterYes Peter, a real shock.. Andre will be sorely missed.
RIP..😔Glenn KirkhamKeymasterYou may well struggle to source that..
Have you tried Wout..? He had a few hanging up in his workshop last time I visited..?Cheers.. Glenn

Have you checked the alternator output. Not unknown for windings to go open circuit and/ brushes to fail.?
Cheers…Glenn KirkhamKeymasterHi Peter, here’s a link to a guy on Facebook that’s had them apart..

Just click the tab Facebook Latest under the News tab. I look forward to following your progress.. 🙂December 26, 2022 at 3:17 pm in reply to: Seat, exhaust system, shock absorber, for the Honda CB1100RB BJ1981 SC05 #14449Glenn KirkhamKeymasterHi Thomas, you have an interesting project there.. You will know that the seat cowling is not correct for an RB.. the seat in the pic is for the RC/RD.
The RB also does not have passenger footrests… and the footrest bracket is also from the RC/RD.
You can check in the website classifieds section for the exhaust parts you seek.
Cheers.. Glenn -
