    hi all
a battery question, i am currently dismantling a barely used/raced/crashed then left for 30 yrs cb1100rc i came across recently and ordered a battery for it but now its arrived i have realized the old battery has the positive is on the right/outside unlike the new replacement.the old battery is the original honda one any one know whats up,is it normal?

I had exactly the same in the early 1990s when some battery manufacturers messed around with the location of the terminals. I run Oddessey batteries now and they’re fine (and correct !)

Positive terminal should be on the LH side, closest to the starter solenoid.

Yes Eill is correct..positive (red lead) connect to the solenoid.
