Can anyone advise me? I am trying to remove the engine from the frame of my CB100RB and the long engine mounting bolt at the rear of the engine is well and truly stuck. The bolt + cases have corroded as this is the CB1100R that was converted to a trike and raced along Weston beach so lots of salt water! I have tried all the obvious thing such as heat, soaking in carb cleaner etc. I am reluctant to whack it too hard in case I damage the casings. I am planning on turning it over and cutting the bolt carefully where it passes through the outside of the crankcase lugs and then drilling the bolts out. Has anyone got any experience of this?

If the bolt is scrap anyway would it be possible to drill and tap the end and try a slide hammer
