    Hi Lads
I am trying to take the front axel off the front wheel and the axel nut is very very tight I even had it in a bench vice and it will not move, I am afraid to use a longer lever encase I do some damage, any ideas.

    Hello John,

You have to tight it in the bench vice with a lot power.
You can use a longer lever without problems.
I can help you with another special axel nut when you damage this one.

    Good luck,

    Wout.

    John,

Definitely a 2 man job for me John, (Im not as strong as some guys). I removed mine last week. It was incredibly tight as well. I did try the vice but got success by using lots of leverage, with some waterpipe over the end of the 17mm open ender.
