Hi to all in the club,

My name is John and have just joined. I’ve got a CB1100RB-I Australian unfaired model which I’ve owned for about 5+ years. It’s a very early unfaired model supplied new to Australia. It’s an August 1980 manufactured machine (pre Castrol 6 hour). I personally imported it to the UK from Japan after I visited a specialist there to view it when I was searching to buy an RB-I specifically. There are a few RB-I’s in Japan that have been repatriated from Australia by Japanese enthusiasts, the Japanese bike magazines out there show a quite a strong following for the CB1100R in general in fact. I registered it on a W registration plate and it’s in use, it’s really nice to ride. Here’s a pic of it near the Epsom racecourse.

Anyway, if anyone has a NOS or truly mint C1100RB English language owners manual for sale I would like to buy one. Also I’m after a pdf copy of an owners manual too for my own use if anyone can help me with one? Thanks!

Welcome John, I’m sure one of the other RB owners will be able to help you out.

The 2020 International meeting is happening in June next year. I’m sure everyone would be interested to see a genuine RB1 if you can make it.

Thank you all, I will certainly try and attend a meeting, I would really love to see some other CB1100R’s and meet some owners as I’ve only ever seen one other CB1100R of any type on the road in the UK my lifetime! (I think it was an RB police bike sometime in the eighties or it looked like a policeman riding it anyway-maybe they owned some back then)

I’m not on Facebook hence if anyone could possibly help with an owners manual pdf it would be extremely helpful? I’ve also got a second mortgage lined up if anyone has a mint English language physical copy for sale anytime in the future. Regards, John.

Many thanks Wout, the invitation is much appreciated. Nearer the time next year I’ll know if I can make it or not. I can understand anyone having more than one CB1100R for sure -I have lots of other different bikes but for me the CB1100R is one of the best to ride and gives me the most enjoyment. Best Regards, John.

Awesome bike John and welcome. I have one professionally made copy of RC/RD manual, if your interested. I asked a printer friend to make a copy so that i didnt soil my original. He made 5. Other members have 3, and I have 1, so there is 1 left if your interested. Not selling for any profit, just the cost of materials my friend used. $A20 plus postage…my email is john.lindsay.stevenson@gmail.com
    Cheers,
    JohnS
