Couldnt resist the opportunity to rescue a non running Bol-Dor two weeks ago.
1981 CB750F with a 900 powerplant.
Bonding between most family members (CB1100RD, XJ900RK) was immediate, wife took a tad longer.

Ive always liked the charcoal grey with gold decals colour scheme on the Bol-Dors, so back to an original ride with that colour scheme. The previous owner had never managed to get it started after 2 years, and sold it to me out of total frustration for $A300.We all know fresh fuel is a must for these machines, and thats really what was holding back the old girl from coming to life for him. Two coil output pins were totally corroded away, however compression is 165psi each cylinder so new coils, fresh fuel, oil and filter and she fired up well.
Came with a brand new battery : )JohnS
