Just like to thank Trev for organising the show, even his lads and wife Carol for
erecting the gazebo and transporting equipment etc.
I had a good run down with sunshine all the way.
We had one early shower and then the sun came out for the rest off the day.
I would say the show was british bike bias but there was a very strong interest
in our bikes and the red white blue was like target for people to aim for.
We had 4 1100Rs 1 RB, 2 RC and Paul from Reading stunning RD.
Great day, very good company and roll on the next one.
My 1100RC came home quicker than going and the old girl did not miss a beat.
Now I know why I love the old girl. Cheers Gary
+1 to Gary’s post. Paul’s RD is stunning and early rain meant ridding out of the show across the muddy field. As Paul says, “they are meant to be ridden” and I hope we will see more of his RD at club events.
Thanks to all who attended the meeting at Popham on Sunday. I was very pleased to have at least one of each model on the stand and as Gary said the colour of our bikes certainly caught the eye of many. I was surprised at the interest in our bikes and the number of comments and questions from people who clearly had some knowledge of the 1100R’s.
