    HI Col,

When you put the image up in the post doubleclick the image and a dialogue box will come up where you can select the size of the image.. By default it gets inserted as a thumbnail
You can do this to your original post by going to ‘Edit’. Then remove your update post to keep things tidy :)

Chaps… have moved the Start Motor Clutch topic onto a new Thread. Don’t post Starter motor replies here. This thread will continue for Donington Motorcycle Festival topic.

    Cheers

I think we all realise the Ebay can be a dodgy place sometimes, but of late there appears to have been a lot of High Value items going across Ebay that are fraudulent. As a potential buyer you contact the Seller who offers you a ‘Quick Sale’ but for you
protection wants payment through the Ebay ‘System’ by sending you and Ebay invoice. This gives the appearance of being valid but is in fact a fraudulent Ebay Invoice and does nothing to protect the hapless buyer if he sends off a large stash of
    money.
With anything of this value the best advice I would suggest is only part with the money when you have the goods, in this case the Bike, in front of you.

    Niccolo,

You can change the frequency on when you get an update as follows:

Go up to the SETTINGS up on the top right of the screen next to the Log Out button.

On the next page in the MY SUBSCRIPTIONS area on the left select SUBSCRIPTIONS

You will then see all the threads you are subscribed to (that is.. you receive a notification whenever a post is made on that
    thread)
To the right it will indicate what the level each thread is on (default is DAILY). You can change this to INSTANTLY, DAILY or WEEKLY by
checking the box next to the treads you want to change… then scrolling to the bottom and hitting the SELECT THREADS button, changing
the subsription to the one you want, then hitting the GO button.

    Hope that helps..

Not sure what the problem may have been with the Admin Forum… seems OK but will check that out.

    Brian,

I’ve done this myself and almost thrown the computer out the window. 😡

Tip: Type the article into a text editor (Notepad/Wordpad etc) or word processor application (MS Word etc) and save the document. Then copy and paste onto the Forum and format the article
for layout and add any pics or attachments. If it stuffs up the hard work is saved and the computer won’t get launched in a fit of rage ;)

If we can work out the factual details on this then I can put them up in a new section on this. I’ll work on some sort of widget format.
    Any thoughts and ideas apprecitated
    :)

    Hi Wim, and everyone..

Don’t worry about re-posting. All the posts are still there but they are not showing up for some members.

    Am working on it.

    HI again all,

Can anyone see the posts that are missing ?

OK… deliberate daft question, but I suspect the missing post problem is not fully solved, some posts are not visiable to everyone for some reason.

Can everyone see the “Goodies for Sale” and “1100R at the Manx” threads ?

Looking at how best to implement it Glenn. A basic thread would be a bit cumbersome to manage once there’s a few things up there.

    Hi Nat,

Thanks for the suggestion. Good to have ideas put forward.:)

I too think a “WANTED” listing page of some sort would be a useful addition as you suggest

Also a spare parts store might work but from my experience most members tend to keep
their collections of parts close to their chest until they really decide they need to have a clear out
of things- so the WANTED list would probably work better.

I will be looking into these additions.

    Cheers

Problem sorted Peter. I found the Bug at this end… well not really a bug but an errant admin setting on your profile.

You’ll be pleased to know then that you are not losing it ;)
