    Hi Glenn,

6 thousand happy miles on Bridestone BT45’s. Practical Sportsbike magazine fit the Avons to bikes they borrow for articles and have nothing but praise for them.

    Cheers

    Graham.

Thank you for that Andre. As I was using Honda pads I will try them for a few miles first in the rebuilt brakes.

Thanks for the replies Andy and Carl. As I already have a new set of the EBC HH pads that came with another pair of calipers, decision made.

    Steve,
Last year with FJ I had the RB at £3500, Pan European at £3200, 1100F at £2000 and a 900F at £1200 and the fee was £237. I have used a FJ since 2004. They include legal cover, breakdown with European cover and emergency medical cover in the event of vehicle jacking or road rage attack.

Hi Paul, yes I could use a helicoil as the damage to the thread is light. The other reason I would like to change them is the air line has been over tightened and damaged the soft ali.

    Hi Andy,
If you can’t find an R, at least borrow a Honda! :)

+1 to Gary’s post. Paul’s RD is stunning and early rain meant ridding out of the show across the muddy field. As Paul says, “they are meant to be ridden” and I hope we will see more of his RD at club events.

Hi James, thanks for the reply. I am in Eastbourne. I am going up to the Stafford show on the 14th of October so probably wont make Brightona but have every intention of getting to the speed trials. Lets keep in touch via here and see how many we can persuade to visit for some southern hospitality.

My 900F2B used to do the same until I adjusted the steering head bearings. Also I think the wrong tyre pressures can have the same effect.
